In this society, money seems to control most things. When someone acquires a large sum of money through any means, it may change you, most of the time for the worst. Enter Warren Buffett.
Warren Buffett is estimated at a staggering 72 Billion through his investment company Berkshire Hathaway. But even through all of the wealth he has acquired over the years, he has never forgotten his roots and has stayed humble this whole time.
What was his secret? In the article posted above, Warren Buffett quotes, "He was quick to point out that we had all in fact started off poor, scared and naked." If you think about it honestly, this quote has a lot of truth: we all start out the same. However, it is what we do on our journey that will define the outcome.
The gist of the article was this:
"Never do anything in life if you would be ashamed of seeing it printed on the front page of your hometown newspaper for your family and friends to see."
